The Collection Continues

   I collect fedoras. I love them. I started collecting them a few months ago when I found one on a whim at Edgars in the mall in Manzini. It was brown and white and gray in a checkery sort of pattern.

  After receiving a funky black and red small-checked hat from my aunt while were home in the States in May, it became a collection.

   And now, with three fedoras under my belt, as of this week, the collection continues. So yay(:
I will update you when more find their way into my life. What I like about them is they all have a story, somewhere I was, someone I was with...We need more of that in our life, we need to remind ourselves of all the amazing things we get to do, the people we get to meet...more memory-keepers.

Even if we have to wear them on our head to remember. :)

That's all for now<3

New Starts Are Appreciated

  Anyone that has ever looked at this blog can probably see that now, it looks a little different. Before this was strictly a photography blog. A place to post one photo at a time with little description. I am taking a different approach now, trying out a bit more of a story-telling model.

  If you know me, you know I'm 14, and will always describe myself as a photographer. If you don't, you do now(:

  Because of my age, of course, I'm not going to be doing any paid shoots anytime soon, but capturing life through photos is what "I believe I do best., and every set of photos I take is a little bit of a 'shoot' to me(;

  Living in Africa...like I do...I get some amazing opportunities for photos. Anywhere I am I will find SOMETHING to take pictures of, but so much about this place is especially beautiful(:

  Life is way too amazing not to record and remember. Everyone who loves art tells a story in some way, and the way I do it is photography. Pictures mean more to me than a lot of things.

  Check out my photos. I think you'll like what you see...

  Until next time...Over and out(:
